Day Twenty-Nine - Resurrection Sunday

Light | Reader – Easter 2020

Silence and stillness before God (2 minutes)

Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:17

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.

Question to consider this week: In the current season that we're in, how can you personally walk alongside people in your world that are experiencing big deaths and small?

Action Step: Think of some of your passions, callings and dreams, especially those that you thought were dead. Could God be resurrecting some of those in this season? If so, write down how he may be calling you to partner with Him in bringing resurrection to these.

Prayer: Jesus, thank you for Your life. Thank you for Your death. Thank you for Your resurrection! Help me to know when to partner with You to bring things back to life and when to let things go. Help me to mourn and move on from the deaths that I experience and will experience, both great and small. Help me to live life knowing that with You nothing is impossible and that death does not have the final say. In Your name, Amen!

Conclude with silence and stillness before God (2 minutes)
